My name is Biddika Narasamma, and I come from Peddamulaguda village. As a single mother of two children, I worked hard daily as an agricultural laborer and collected forest produce to earn a small income. Managing our daily needs was a constant struggle, especially during the rainy season when our small hut would leak and flood. My children often found studying difficult in such conditions, and we lived in fear during heavy rains and storms.
Everything changed when the Holy Cross organization selected me for their housing project. They supported me with essential construction materials, cement, stones, sand, steel, toilet fittings, plumbing, and electrical supplies, everything needed to complete a strong and safe home. With their support, I was finally able to build a proper house.
Today, my children live and study in a safe, clean, and comfortable environment. I feel proud and relieved to have a home of our own. I sincerely thank the SELVIP Foundation for their support and Holy Cross for bringing this opportunity to our village.
